Flordia Trip
March 27, 2006
I went to Florida last week for my cousins wedding. It was cool except for all the stuff in the air that made my nose run. And when my nose runs, I pick it and when I pick it too much it bleeds and then if I sneeze while it’s bleeding and there’s no Kleenex around blood goes everywhere.
Aside from ruining one of my favorite shirts, I parked my car in Saint Paul while I was in Florida and it got towed which ended up costing $349.21. Other than that, the trip was great and I can’t wait to go back.

Field Work
February 3, 2006
This is the end of the fourth week of work at my new job. Yea, I got another job. Mostly because I wasn’t getting enough hours at Nextec Systems. So far this job has been a blast, I get to do low voltage wiring AND work on computers. Prior to this week, most of my time had been spent in the shop, which was cool but I was starting to going stir crazy.
When I do work at the shop, I tend to finish and have nothing to do, which sucks because if I’m not doing anything I tend to pester people for things to do… and they never have anything for me to do. I think me bothering people for things to do was the reason they started sending me out to do work in the field. This week about half of my time was spent working away from the shop, and with any luck, it will stay that way.

Mayo Toss Game
January 16, 2006
The other day Jenn and I went to Sams Club and then Wal-Mart to get a bunch of food. When we got home we were putting the groceries away and Jenn was by the fridge and I was a whole ten feet away… obviously too far to walk over to it. So I took the mayonnaise, yelled “catch,” and gently tossed it to her. Luckily, I bought the Wal-Mart brand mayo so the container was made of plastic, which came in handy when she failed to catch it. Even though the container didn’t break like a glass one would of, the lid popped off and a bunch of mayo splattered all over the room.
Just in case you couldn’t figure it out. The red arrows are pointing to the mayo splatter, and the blue arrow is pointing to an unhappy Jenn.

Clog
January 8, 2006
What a super fun Sunday I had today! It all started while I was brushing my teeth and the water from the sink went down the sink drain it came out of the bathtub drain. After about 20 minutes of plunging I realized this was no ordinary clog, so I went out in search of some “liquid-plumber.” There are about thirty different kinds of this stuff so I went with the one that had the most toxic and environmental hazard stickers on it. Two hours and a whole bottle of toxic-liquid-plumber later the clog actually got worse! Now, instead of the water going from the sink drain to the tub drain, it just goes nowhere! FRUSTRATED, I went to my room to take a break. After four episodes of MacGyver I came up with the solution. I grabbed the ShopVac, moved the hose from “vacuum” to “exhaust”, jammed the hose into the sink drain and turned it on. Exactly 2.3 seconds later, the tub drain erupted a black sludge
Of course, by the time I took the picture most of the sludge had already gone back down the drain. The moral of this story is: Watching MacGyver will help you unclog your drain.

Hot Tub
December 28, 2005
Were in the car driving home now, Jenns driving and I’m riding. We had a wonderful time in Sioux Falls, how could anybody possibly have fun in Sioux Falls you ask? Well we had a hot tub in our room. It was awesome, I must have spent 12 hours a day in that thing. I had everything set up so sweet too, I pulled my cell phone, the TV, my laptop, and the mini fridge right up to the edge of the tub so I never had to get out. Except that once when I couldn’t reach the remote.
but all that is over and now were on the road. Teaching Jenn to drive is like taking a bath in razor blades.

Merry Ditchmas
December 25, 2005
So, I got a lot of nifty stuff on Christmas eve, almost everything. Everything but sleep. After midnight mass we decided to head straight to South Dakota to spend Christmas day there. We left Deer River at about 2am. First I drove, all the way to the interstate 35. Next Jenn drove she made it almost all the way to the cities we switched again because it started to snow pretty hard then once we got down to Interstate 90 the roads were pure ice. I ended up driving for about four hours until all the snowing and icy roads were behind us. By this time I’m dead tired, so I switched off to Jenn. I get her going and I doze off in the passengers seat, about an hour later I am abruptly woken by one hell of a bumpy ride. By the time I get my eyes open the car has come to a stop and were seated perpendicular to the interstate in the median ditch.
Seconds later we were accompanied by the highway patrol who told us we were not allowed to call friends/family for assistance and if we couldn’t drive out we HAD to call a tow truck. I was pissed because I was sure that if I had Jenn give it gas while I pushed, we could be out in less than an hour. The pull out of the ditch cost 50$.
How about that! I drive four hours through Ice hell with zero visibility at 70MPH and manage to stay inside the fog lines. Jenn drives one hour in the sun at 55MPH (because she was SCARED) and “accidentally” drives into the ditch.

I Love Eggs
December 10, 2005
You know what I like? Eggs, hard boiled eggs. I’ll tell you why, see when all the pots and pans are dirty I can make all the hard boiled eggs I want without cleaning anything!! Sure, the shells gets covered with whatever was in the pot before, but it’s ok because you don’t eat the shells.
That is all.

Hole
November 28, 2005
Well, It looks like Charter (just like MediaCom) forgot to delete my web space when I terminated my account with them. That is great news for me because it means I get my site hosted for free until they notice. so, yea. a lot has happened in the last two weeks. I moved into a house in proctor, I figured if I didn’t move before calendar parking began in Duluth I would go bankrupt from all the tickets I’d get. First thing I did was get internet. I did a bit of research and found Qwest would be the cheapest, $33/mo, not bad compared to $45/mo with Charter, $53/mo with MediaCom and something like $250/mo with PaulRipOffBunyan.net.
Anyway, after that I found an ad for a Washer and dryer for just a hundred bucks and they worked flawlessly after I took them apart and gave them a thorough cleaning. Days went by and we got most of our stuff put away we decided to take down all the bad pictures hanging in the house and in the living room to our surprise we found A HUGE HOLE IN THE WALL:
I was shocked. After looking at the hole for about 5 minutes I found the chimney it was connected to and tore it out. now we have a big pile of bricks in the bedroom and I have no idea what to do with them.

I Moved
November 20, 2005
I just moved and will not have internet for about a week and charter might not host my site upon termination of my account, if this happens I will change the DNS and when you come to ajcrazyo.com you will be routed to google.com IF this happens it will only be temporary until I can find another host.

Heating My Apartment
November 16, 2005
What an eventful day so far!!! I woke up this morning to a FREEZING cold apartment and I had to run to the school to do some minor repairs. On the way to one of the classrooms I saw this hanging on the wall
Now I’m not an expert or anything but when a second grader in a Christian school puts that much emphasis on the word “KILL” I think that’s a student everyone should keep their eye on.
ANYWAY, like I was saying, it was FREEZING cold in the apartment and the radiators weren’t even on, I was so pissed, so before I left for the school I turned on the oven and strategically placed my fans to warm the place up. I got back an hour later and the kitchen was nice and hot but the rest of the place was still freezing. The fans weren’t moving the air correctly. So after about four seconds of thinking, I realized the problem was that the cold air in the living room had no way to get to the heat source in the kitchen. I turned one of he fans around and created a makeshift cold air return duct out of cardboard boxes
FIFTEEN MINUTES: that’s how long it took to heat the living room as soon as I set up the duct work.
Amazing eh?
